2023 ART CHALLENGE! COME JOIN ME!

So it is almost the new Year and I am setting forth an artistic challenge to all of you who love doing art. I want you to pick a style you like to work in, i.e. watercolors, inks, pencil etc. and each week create a new piece of art and post it on your blog then come here and leave a link so I can come see it. It does not have to be big, can be a sketch or a complete painting it is up to you! I am going to do what ever hits me that week and share it right here.

And for those who do not feel like they can draw do a coloring page or AI art!

My goal is to make 2023 more colorful and artistic year and I need your help to move this movement along to other Artist! Also share on Face book and Pinterest.

Lets make 2023 full of color and love!!!!

THORNS ALL FINISHED..........A completed piece!

Hello all my art friends,

Sorry I have been away for some time, I have been dealing with alot including a bout of depression. If you have never been depressed let me explain what it is like....imagine falling down a hole and your trying to grasp hold of something....anything....only there is nothing. It was during this time that thorns was inspired. Depression hurts, like you soul and body are being ripped apart thus the thorns coming through the skin but once you are able to claw your way out your left with roses. I know this is bit of a bummer entry, but I find art therapeutic and it helps working through the darkness. Now I am starting to do more works and will be sharing them as I go. Thank you for continuing to follow me and keep me uplifted!

MY LATEST WORK.......Thorns by Lee Seed

So what I found during the pandemic was like alot of people I became depressed and with that came pain that I never had before. So as a type of therepy I was inspired by this amazing image I saw and sketched out .It is called "Thorns" which to me was a statement about depression how living life can be full of pain like thorns growing through your skin but in the end with help and friends roses bloom.

I will continue updating the progress here so you can see the design from begining to end.

Have a great day
