Having finished the Celtic Seasons I started thinking about my next set of illustrations and have come up with an asian influenced elemental series.
This set entitled THE ELEMENTALS will be my next 4 illustrations. And here is the sketches;

So today was one of those days where the muse was sitting right beside me egging me on and so I completed the CELTIC SEASONS COLLECTION. This piece is the Winter Solstice piece and it was my first time really doing an owl and I am actually pretty proud of it....so with that I wanted to share it with everyone.

TALES FROM THE MUSE......And so Autumn is complete now

Today I finished the second piece of the Season collection this one is AUTUMN EQUINOX and I have to tell you the inspiration was a very good friend of mine and her love for green. I have always loved doing Celtic Knot work and am very inspired by nature and the Art Nouveau movement. I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned I will have 2 more pieces to come.

TALES FROM THE MUSE.........First One is Done

Good Morning my friends and followers!
I have completed the first piece in my new set of images. Here is the SUMMER SOLSTICE art print and original.

So yesterday I sketched out my next set of images. The set is called Season of the Witch and includes and image inspired by Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox. I will be doing updates here as I work on them so check back.

TALES FROM THE MUSE........Strange Magic finished

So the piece is now finished and already in my Etsy shop but I wanted to share it with everyone. As you can see for the prints I added a digital background to it for a bit more punch. I had an amazing time working on the pieces and am now selling signed and numbered art prints.

A number of my fans have asked where my inspiration comes from and after much thought I would say alot comes from imagination and the love of fairy tales, fairies and fantasy but the other side of the yin yang it is based in reality and inspired by nature. I love sitting in a garden and letting nature whisper ideas to me.....may sound crazy but it does to me.

TALES FROM THE MUSE..........Inspiration comes back to the castle

Good afternoon to all my followers

Today as I was cleaning my art shelf I came across my pencils and pens  and with that a letter from my dad before he died...it actually was the last letter he wrote and as I read it I realized I was letting him and my mom down by not continuing my art adventure, he said something profound that I took to heart "Don't take yourself out of the game before you try". I have this awful habit to do just that look at that pad of paper and think I will never be a great artist......I will never feel art like I did before mom and dad died. Telling myself this I took myself out of the game before I even started and I was not living up to his request.
So I pulled out all my art supplies and sat down on my bed and began to draw and low and behold.....I did an illustration and it was like I had never stopped, so maybe my muses are back in the castle leading my imagination down new paths. I am very pleased with this piece entitled NOSE GAY and will put updates as I work on the piece. Nothing is going to stop me now!
